Apprehended

As I ran from God I was pursued and overtaken by the Almighty
He took my hand turned me around
Wrapped in His arms He called me son
and lifted me upon high
I sat at His banqueting table ate my fill
and became a partaker of the promise
The wonder of it all the Love of God
Pursuing the likes of me
Did He not know what I had done
He said all is forgiven
the price has been paid you are free
I saw His glory abound Holiness all around
Learned to pray and found a Friend
He showed me the world thru the eyes of his Word
The pastures are green and the waters are still
All is well for it’s Him that I see
The one that Apprehends the runner
